The American College Test (ACT)

The ACT is the leading US college admissions test measuring what is learned in high school to determine academic readiness for college (www.act.org).  Beginning in 2018, the cumulative standardized assessment for Utah schools in grade 11 is ACT.

To support student success on the ACT as well as proficiency on Utah Language Arts Core Standards, the high school language arts advisory team met in July 2018 to build a crosswalk that makes connections between each set of standards.  Feel free to download and use as a reference when considering ACT standards in your classroom curriculum.
